HELP AT HOME

If you want to stay in your current home as long as possible, another great, free resource is available from the County of San Mateo. It’s called Help at Home.

Help at Home is a mini-reference guide published by the San Mateo County Commission on Aging. This free guide contains a wide variety of information designed to assist adults of all incomes to remain safely in their homes.

To obtain a free copy of Help at Home, you may call (650) 802-7950 and leave your name, contact phone number, requested number of copies, and your mailing address. If you want to print the guide from their website, go to https://www.smchealth.org/helpathome and select “English”.

By the way, if you’re still thinking about cashing out, call us first. We can help you create a hassle-free, private and off-market sale and we can usually get you full price for your home and save you the real estate commission.
